    As an aside, heralds tend to eschew the use of the colour green as it is a very difficult colour to satisfactorily reproduce, and can look either too dark, or too yellowish. It is also a colour that does not "read" well at a distance, which really is counter to the purpose of heraldry.

    This is a good sounding board for me at this point. I appreciate the input and in the end I wish to have something that I will enjoy the rest of my life. This is a learning process and I am thoroughly enjoying it.

    I would agree. The acorn Ar would be a nice touch. Perhaps GU a chevron Ar between the three charges Or. Green and red don't go together very well in close proxemity like that: it's like trying to focus on blue and red at the same tmie.

    Come to think of it; Ar in base with an acorn GU might not be a bad move: this of course means a modification of the chevron: a texture perhaps . . . SA maybe; textured SA would be nice . . .
