You were right, Matt; the pleats do go the right way!

    That's a beauty!

I love the width ratio between the central box pleat and the knife pleats! This kilt will be a real treat!

It's off to Nippon, I'm guessing, come monday (if it hasn't already gone out).

That is a BEAUTIFUL tartan. I've been away for a bit and can't seem to find any info on it, or it's very vague. Where and how dooes one aquire such a great tartan, and what's its history?

It was a special run for members of this forum, organised by Artificer. From design to getting the weave done by D C Dalgliesh, all co ordinated by Artificer. There maybe another run in the future, depending on the interest shown (I think there are about 10 or so that have shown interest so far)

If you use the search function you can find the threads associated with the project

I usually do search, but each time I clicked on a result, I was getting an error. I thought the threads had been deleted. I'd certainly be interested. Thanks for the info.

Avonlea22, I too, just tried the search feature to hook up the treads to my post and got the error message also. Something does appear to be wrong.

There are several threads that explain the whole process and they will provide all the info you want. Hopefully the system will get back to optimum in the near futre (First time I have encountered such a problem)

Anyone have a new kilt, yet?

Anyone going mad over the anticipation?

    Re: R'lyeh Sett Jonesin' Thread...

I keep fondling the big bolt of tartan here, battling the idea of making two kilts myself or having them done by somebody who knows what they doing.

I'm most likely going to just hire Mr. Newsome to make them as I don't have enough material to allow for errors, plus I just can't bring myself to cut into it.
Yeah, well, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man
