Amazed
So I purchased a Stillwater Kilt that had a defect off the Clearance section. Before shipping it was noticed that the size was wrong on the site and Sadly it was about 10 inches to small. However i was not too disappointed since i was going to be ordering one anyhow and was just trying to save some cashola since i was basically buying the kilt as a knock around so i didn't destroy my more expensive one. So i went on and ordered a HW wool in the Stewart Black and received it today.
This is where i became amazed. Not only did i not have to wait months like my first kilt, basically a week, But It fits as good as the Custom model i spent nearly 3 times as much on. Jerry had said he would make up for their error which he did not need to do but man did he ever with a couple of nice items thrown in the box. It was much appreciated but not needed to make me happy. The quality is superb and i may need to order a knock around kilt so i don't mess up my knock around kilt.
To sum up my experience the quality was so much better than i ever expected and everyone should provide the type of customer service i recieved from Stillwater Kilts. Pics will be coming soon.

I have had nothing but good experiences with Jerry. He goes out of his way for the customer.

I was wondering the same thing. Usually you hit "submit" on the order and then find that the order arrived anywhere from seconds to minutes prior to your doing that.

Close enough! A week? From SWK, that's a heck of a jones! I've had my eye on a wool Black Stewart from them myself.

I ordered a couple of Sporrans from SWK - They were in the mail almost as fast as I got confirmation from google payments. Very impressed with the service (and for the price of the sporrans, I am very impressed with them as well).

Nothing but good to say about SWK. They are great.
In this opinion, the "Thrifty" is THE ideal, "...don't care if it gets motor oil, beer, burger drippings or rhinocerous snot on it..." kilt.

I have always been incredibly impressed with Jerry's customer service. I have an Irish National Thrifty which is great for St. Pat's in case of any accidents - just throw it in the wash. I've also had the heavy weight wools and think they are about the best kilt available for the price.
