My choices are easy since meeting with Steve. Red Graham of Mentieth for a traditional kilt for my son, Isle of Skye for my contemporary kilt. So ambitious - probably very naive!

Everyone signed up for Kamp should have received your welcome letter and course syllabus today.
If you did not get yours please let me know.

Oh, any anyone who already has a kilt would you kindly bring it. It would be great to have for show and tell when we do the presentation of the types of kilts.
We still need a USA Kilt and a Stillwater kilt.
We hope to have representitive kilts from most of the vendors who advertise here. We will also have some other types of kilts so everyone can compare the different kilts.

For the out-of-towners.......2012 is the 150th anniversary of Victoria so there are all sorts of events going on. The evening of August 5 (first night of Kilt Kamp) is Symphony Splash (http://www.victoriasymphony.ca/splash/).
The Splash is a huge outdoor orchestral concert conducted at the Inner Harbour, always ending with Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture, complete with bells, cannons, and fireworks.

Steve, I'm not coming to the camp, but if you need a USA Kilt and a Stillwater I would be happy to bring them by for you to use for the show and tell.

You and Anna should come to the barbecue that we are planning for the evening of August 6th (Monday). It will be at our house. We don't have a pool, like you do, but I do have new interesting single malt........

Thanks for the invitation, KK! We get back that weekend, so I'll check with SWMBO. I wouldn't want to miss your BBQ or your malt!
I'll get the kilts to Steve at the shop before we leave.

Steve,
I will be wearing a USAkilt. The one I will have with me is the X-marks tartan semi-traditional from USAKilts and maybe one other. I will also have with me one of their casual models. I will fly out in that one as it does not have any metal to set off the detector.
