Thanks. I can't wait to see the pleats once I get it pressed and the basting removed.

This is my first 16 oz. wool attempt. I'm liking it so far. It took me a while to get to the point where I wasn't afraid of messing up this expensive stuff. I wouldn't say figured out, I'm still learning, just not as lost as when I started. :P

Pleats cut out in the fell, steeking done, and stabilizer installed. I got a little off on my spacing on one of the stitches but it will be covered by the canvas.

I commend your attempt to constantly find new challenges. Also echo those who note you appear to have come far already. Keep up the struggle.

Thanks. I've been slacking the past few days. I need to get some work done on it this weekend. That's the real struggle, finding motivation.

    Wow.
I've been following this thread and I have to say, your work is great and that blue, so vivid. I like how your basting stitches are so even!

Thanks! I love blue for sure. The Marton Mills weave of this tartan has a different blue than the Batley. It almost has a subdued purple hidden in there. I figured out how to hide my stitching for the canvas so I can use any color lining I want. Just use carpet thread the same color as the canvas!
