Went a tad trad for Thanksgiving this year. Always look forward to having a chance to dress up a little bit more than usual.

Edit: I don't know why images are suddenly sideways. I did what I always to when I post a picture and this is the first time this has happened.

I went kilted for Thanksgiving this year as well. It seemed a fine occasion for American Legacy tartan!

    Happy Thanksgiving

I also spent the day in a family tartan kilt. MacDonald of the Isles Hunting ancient colors. My 94 year old mom and her brother were here and liked seeing the kilt.

As the temperature rose into the 80's, I was glad I wore it casual with a tee shirt

My New Years Eve party look. Barbara Tewksbury kilt in Urquhart Modern and jacket/vest from St. Kildas. I didn’t notice my sporran was so off-center until I looked at the photos. First time I wore my vest/waistcoat with the jacket. I know the kilt looks too long, this was the end of the night and my kilt had migrated. I did receive many compliments at the party. Highland Coo kilt pin I bought at the Bannockburn battlefield gift shop included.

    TGIKF Kilted for Lunch

My Robertson red USAK semi-trad was next in wearing rotation for lunch with two past BODs I had worked for when retiring. They would have fainted if I had shown up in trousers. Interesting to hear the latest happenings in the community they reside. And even more glad to be retired.
