Thursday night, rolling into Friday
My wife and I have been participating in our town's Citizens' Police Academy. Last night was our graduation, so I decided to dress up a bit. It only lasted an hour, so I wore the same kit to work this morning, minus the tie.
I did hear an older lady tell her husband that he needed to get a kilt, so that was quite the compliment.

Its been a while since work Fridays have been more than office time. The new tour guides have ben wanting to see the Alberta 'modern' for a while, so today its paired with a casual shirt and my DIY sporran.
Happy Friday, all
..some "great to see the kilt" comments thru the day

Not quite a Friday, this was on a recent Saturday when a friend of mine got married (I was there simply as a guest). Not the most photogenic moment, but good enough to show the outfit.
I need a dressier sporran.

Good looking ensemble. I think your sporran is fine for most occasions. However, I have three sporrans for many different events.

Looking good, and I also think your sporran looks fine. Love the tartan. What is it?

Thank you! The tartan is Aberdeen Forever, a modern pattern created and sold by Alex Scott Kiltmaker in Aberdeen. I fell in love with it during a Scotland holiday because it looks good, is not clan-affiliated (just like me - no Scottish heritage) and the colors fit both with my NFL team (49ers) and the German flag (black-red-gold), which is where I am from.
