    Re: March Piccture Challenge - calling all musicians!

    Ah....Here goes.
    I know I have posted these pics in the past, but that was a while ago and these are among my favorite kilted pics.

    This is me putting on my best Geezer Butler/Cliff Burton face while holding this sweet '78 Rickenbacker, owned by a close family friend during their band's video shoot.

    My mother in law made that kilt for me way back in 2003 after my wife showed her pictures off the Utilikilt website. She has an impressive amount of talent! My "Brasilikilt" is every bit as good, if not better than a Utilikilt.

    Here's me playing an acoustic Ovation at home, wearing my USA Kilt in Mac Leod hunting tartan.

    I've been shedding pounds for the last few years, and these kilts need to be re-sized before I can start wearing them again.

    Here's a shot from last weekend of me wearing another kilt my mum-in-law made for me using some yardage of locally produced Pendleton wool.

    The guitar is a Gibson Les Paul...My father bought it brand new back in 1978 when I was 2.5 months old :-)

    Hope you enjoyed these shots

    It was a privilage Alan. Derek and Adrian are both enormously talented musicians where as I am but a busker, and a bad one at that. It was great fun though.

    I just noticed that your "guitar" has four strings...."bass" guitar?

    Here we are, The Black Bear Rebels performing at the Gung Haggis Fat Choy Chinese New Year/Robbie Burns' dinner. Deep fried haggis won tons FTW.

    Left to right are;
    Todd Wong, X MacDonald, Trish McMordie, Erin Hymel Hedley, uhm...(I'm so bad with names), Alan McMordie, Don Harder, and Jay MacDonald's knee.

    Ahh yes, that is me with my brother-in-law Ewerton (he's 17 now, and just bought a "Flying V" during his visit here a few weeks back) in Rio de Janeiro after the Iron Maiden show....That had to be the most insane show I had ever been to!
    In Brasil, Iron Maiden is a religion for all practical purposes, and fans claw their way out of the jungle to see them.

    Couldn't agree more on both counts. Can't believe I missed it the first time around. Just imagining trying to learn how to play those nearly makes my head explode.
