Almost five years.
Almost five years ago I decided to sink a weeks pay or so into my FK cargo model. I have abused this kilt beyond belief.
It has primer on the apron from my latest boat build, and still wears well.
Now I wear it for knocking around, but that's about all I do. I've lost weight, but the fit was so precise that it still does good.
If anyone is wondering about the value, an FK is a bargain. I still wear my X-Kilt, and like it but I can't match the workmanship from BC.
I'll try to get some pics soon, but for now would like to know what other folks who have spent a few years in their FKs' think.
If I ever pop for a family tartan ( beatty ) trad, I know who I'm going to call.
If you're thinking about it, do it. I seriously have abused this garment and I'd buy it all over again.
