Which is so weird, as I used Zardoz for games too, back in 1993. I thought it was the best film until I recently saw it again. Oh well. Perhaps it needed some herbal encouragement to be appreciated?

I love the blues (along with many other forms of music) and a good portion of my ancestry is celtic so bluescelt seemed to fit the bill.

When I decided to join here after a couple years of lurking, we were just back from our trip to Scotland and our clan gathering in '09. I was full of "Scottishness" and wanted a suitably Scots-themed screen name. (I normally use some variant on my initials on other forums.)
While sitting at the keyboard pondering what to choose for this forum, a certain furry nuisance jumped up on my lap. Case closed.

(Anecdotal lore relates that black cats were actually a sign of good luck in auld Scotland.)

Found the name writen on a piece of plastic given (sold) to me by the state of Maryland. AS I must renew the use of the plastic card every 6 years, (at great expense and waste of time), I should get some use of the name.

Plus, I just don't have an imagination.

My first name is also my user name on every forum I've joined. This is the first forum I've found where the user name was already in use so I added my last initial.

I was obviously not very imaginative. I added the location thinking anyone else in this city would quickly see I was in their area. If I was doing it over I would use something else. The location based name has not served any real purpose. Location becomes apparent once you post for something local like a kilt night. Also, should I move the location will be incorrect.

I really only ever get on the computer after dinner and usually with a glass of my favourite relaxing medication in hand. I have used the name of that beverage as my username on every forum I have participated in (mostly hunting and fishing) for about ten years. When I discovered this forum just over a year ago I naturally tried it first and was quite surprised it had not been used given the demographic of the members.

My middle name (the one I am called) and my last initial. Short, as my typing skills are horrible.

Would you believe it's my grandfather's name? We have traced things back to Stirlingshire, where his grandfather was born, and the name was recorded at times, as MacQueen, and others, as McQueen, thus our clan connection. Pappy's grandfather was recorded in Canadian records after he emigrated there, as McQueen. So, since I'm tracing my heritage back through the matrilineal line, I am really am a McQueen.
