My new stuff,or why Rocky rocks

On a hot tip from a fellow X-marker I called Rocky about a velvet sheriffmuir doublet, and while I was on the phone I ordered a lovat blue jacket with matching hose.and here they are.

    And my lame Hamish

I do have to say that when my girl vetoed the black for the navy blue,Rocky was understanding, helpfull and made the change without a even a sigh.I love this doublet,It's everything I wanted, wonderfully built, perfectly fit and cool as anything. Can you tell I'm happy by the goofy look on my face? But wait there's more.

Once more I have to say the quality, fit and style are what I've come to depend on from USAK,Also the diced hose and the sporran in the first set of pics are from USAK as well as the sigan dubh in the second set.USAK and Rocky have done it once again for this guy.

    Sincerely

Very nice! I like both combos, especially the sheriffmuir. I've been lusting after one of those for a while. I don't see one on the USA Kilts web pages. Did I miss it, or is it a special you-have-to-talk-with-Rocky item? Thanks.

Thank you,and yes it's a "talk to Rocky" item.If you haven't used USAK before,he's really easy to get a hold of by phone or Email ,and the price was a couple of hundred less than the other companies I was looking at for the same doublet.

    Regards

Very nice jackets- both of them. I especially like the 3-button Braemar.

Yeah, Andy! That looks flippin' great! So, do you have everything you need for the wedding? Seems way too early--you should always leave something to the last just so you can revel in the panic!

What kind of neckwear are you considering for your doublet? Lots of good options.

    Congrats, my friend!

For neckwear I think I'm going with a silk cravat of some color kaila picks for the wedding and for the other two or three times a year I'll wear this, I think a satin cravat in an emrald green with a tonal pattern.

As for some last minute panic it'll be the food, it's always the food
Or our family will do somthing crazy like rearange everything 15min
before we get there and tells kaila as she walks in the building.

    Thanks
    Andy

Andy: I have purchased kilts and accessories from Rocky, but it's hard to shop for something that isn't shown on the web pages. I'll have to give Rocky a call.

Your sheriffmuir looks great with the blue-green kilt. I also have a blue-green kilt, thus the interest. Thanks for your posting, and help.

The problem is, there are so many different types of jackets / vests / accessories that it makes it difficult to show them all (without all the options becoming 'overwhelming' to the first time buyer). We can get almost anything you need (different jacket styles, different tartans, different sgian dubhs, different sporrans, etc), you just have to ask and be able to show us a picture of what it is you're after. We need an example pic b/c many items are made the same way, but have different names depending on the manufacturer.

When in doubt if we can get something, ask! I'll be happy to look into it for you.

Rocky: Thanks for the explanation. I'll be in touch.

Will you turn the rotors on my Rubicon brakes, too?
