It was a pretty good turnout, even though Sat. morning started us off with some fine Scottish weather. Cold, wind, and lots of rain. There weren't many kilts compared to last year, but I'm assuming the reason was because of the threat of storms in the area. The afternoon turned out to be sunny and very warm. Overall, it seemed like a very good weekend. Briefly ran across Highlander999 and would like to have spent more time hanging with him but he was on a mission of sorts. Also met up with the always immaculate creagdubh for a bit in the beer tent. Even standing in a soup of mud and muck, there wasn't a thing out of whack. I was mud spattered up to my knees while his shoes were still shiny... Slainte, Kyle!

Here's a couple of pics of the day.

St. Louis Caledonian Pipe Band. They played splendidly!

A couple of well dressed gents enjoying the morning.

A shot of our local athletes putting on demonstrations. The girl to the left made a side of beef look like a slice of bacon and consistently put the men to shame, and some of them were three times her size, and experienced in this. Was amazing what she did that day.
