I must say, your work is beautiful. I've been looking for a drop-point sgian dubh for years and still only find the false-edge dagger-point blades.

I hope you don't mind, but I've drawn a mock-up of something I would like to own some day, using the sgians on your site as a pseudo-template... I would like to see some sort of options on pricing to have someone build their own...

Seeing as you are paid advertiser, why not put your web address and a brief description of what you do in a "signature" that will be put at the bottom of each post you make? That can be edited from your User CP (Control Panel).

    Joshua,
thanks for your, nice comments. As for a kind of make your own kit, I will give that some serious thought. I have for the first time probably more wood from the Abbey than I'll ever use. In fact as I think of it now I could definitely sell some of that.
Your design made me smile. I'm currently making a sgian dubh just like it - seriously- four and a half inch drop point blade (which would be illegal to wear in the UK) a more traditional basket weave handle, but with a leaping cock salmon carved just below the pommel. I was hoping to put that and another up one on my website but I've so busy over the weekend, mainly replying to emails generated by advertising here. I will post an image sometime today, when I figure out the best way to do it.

    kindest regards

I think you have to put in the http:\\ for it to work.

I think putting the URL in the signature is a good idea, because I couldn't find it in the Forum > X Marks Advertisers > A Real Sgian Dubh or anywhere else either...

Now the next step is to take out the text in the signature that reads "My web link is advertised (small red box) on the right side bottom of home page" and just make the link to Beardie Beastie's website clickable That would be less cluttered and more user friendly

I think this is what you meant to do (you had htpp:// instead of http:// in the links), but Flikr wants me to sign in with a Yahoo account to proceed to your links.

I suggest imageshack, it's free and it works for everyone.
