Excellent pics Ron, looks like a super trip.
Ham, Move to Lancashire. We're flipping sodden and have been for months.
Or you could move to Scotland. It is so frustrating having day after day after day of rain rain and more rain stopping me from getting into outdoor activities.

Great pics! I haven't gotten down there recently, however the last time I was in that stretch of desert I visited the kartchner caverns, then popped into tombstone for lunch and on my way back to maricopa I hit the casa grande ruins.
I love to see what there is in southern AZ before the weather gets too hot, then move my adventuring to your neck of the state!
I recently visited the WWII Japanese relocation camp near Maricopa, amazing that American citizens were rounded up and relocated here.
Perhaps a kilted visit to my neck of the state next time you are out and about!

Ron-
Western hats and kilts DO look good together!
Also, it takes a big man to wear a big hat. Good for you.

Ron: Nice Red Gordon. Looks a lot like a Douglas.

Ron: I was just kidding about the lady who thought your Gordon and the Douglas "looked a bit alike".
Actually, there is a Douglas Ancient Red designed by the Edinburgh Woollen Mill according to the SRT.
