Photo upload issue

There is a row of icons above the box where you type a message. The third button from the RIGHT is the Insert Image button, and it will allow you to insert a picture directly into a thread. It will actually insert a thumbnail, and then present the full size image when the user click on it or mouses over it. The button next to it on the right is the Insert Video button.

Here is a test of inserting an image from my computer directly to a post. This photo was not hosted on photobucket.




I used only the 'insert image' button in the quick reply window.

You can see that the image is displayed in the post as a small thumbnail. If you click on the thumbnail you will see the full size photo.

So, since we can now upload directly from our computers to a post, perhaps we should change the FAQ section that says we can only upload from a host site? Or am I still confused?

Man, bless you all but, I got no icons anywhere near my "quick reply" box.
Unless you mean "post quick reply"
"go advanced" or "cancel"?
I'm pretty sure it's not those?

At the bottom of each thread you view is a "Quick Reply" box. Just above the text entry area is a row of icons. If you mouse over the third icon from the right in that row, (a little square with a tree in it) a small script will pop up, saying "Insert Picture".

No icons here whatsoever. Very weird. I'm using Google chrome for my browser. Maybe it's not compatible or something? I don't know. This is most strange.
