So you probably know that single malt whiskey is now distilled around the world in places like Ireland, India and Japan, but did you know that it will now be distilled ... well, literally around the world?

Argh. Of all the possibilities fir the first Scotch in space it had to be an Islay.

No matter what processes occur in space, it won't actually be able to be called Scotch Whisky until it comes back down to earth to rest on Scottish soil for three years.
