While waiting for my first kilt I’ve been looking for new dress shoes. The soles are so flimsy on the ones I’m currently wearing my metatarsals get soar. Today I broke down and did what I should have done years ago. I bought my first pair of Allen Edmonds brogues. I can’t believe how comfortable they are right out of the box. The Player’s model is 36 percent off at Nordstrom’s. Apparently they are overstocked. Now I just need to research the threads that discuss caring for them.
This jonesing is getting expensive. Two pairs of shoes in a month. All in favor say neigh.
