An interesing start to the day .. doh!

Today we should have had a full days band rehearsal, rehearsing songs for some recordings we have been asked to do.
So, Elaine gets up this morning, opens the kitcken back door to go out the back and trips over the backdoor step ... and now has a broken foot and in plaster up to her knee ...

She now has a Cilted servant running around the place since she has to keep the foot off the ground for the next week until she goes for first check up and they will either re plaster again or put it into a moon boot ...

Ouch indeed! A friend of ours had a similar accident in her home, broke one ankle and severely sprained the other. The sprain turned out to be more troublesome than the break. At least Elaine has a willing (and, one assumes, well-trained) slave! Our friend lives alone and had to move in with relatives for months.

Best wishes for an uncomplicated recovery!
