William Wallace Day Celebration 2012

Rabble,
Join the Fredericksburg Scottish Society in their celebration of William Wallace Day on Saturday, August 25 at Park Lane Tavern at 2:00 PM. The event is public. There will be a Tribute to William Wallace, Scotland’s greatest patriot with readings from the 15th century poem The Wallace by Bind Harry and a short talk on the Real William Wallace. We will be entertained by the Celtic band, AON. Be there!

Note: Park Lane Tavern is the former Fredericksburg Pub behind the Spotsylvania Towne Centre (mall) off exit 130B I-95.

Someday I may be in the area when one of your special events is taking place, but not on the 25th.

So far, the closest I get is to the Virginia Games, I'm planning on being there again this year. I'll be prepared to have my kilted little buddy... "Willie" with me to say hello to anyone who wants to visit with him.
