I found The Mudmen on iTunes in Canada, but I know availability differs between countries.
I'll recommend Spirit of the West's early stuff. They're original Canadian music, but heavily influenced by, and making use of Irish traditional music.

I dont't think they have been mentioned: "Black Tartan Clan" from Belgium. They are more in the Punk drawer. You can check them out on Youtube.

And the find of Turbokittie: CelKilt http://www.celkilt.com/

Lots of great bands mentioned. Seven Nations was the first celtic rock group I was exposed to when they used to be regulars at the Pleasanton Highland Games. I also enjoy Albannach, Brother, Wicked Tinkers, Tempest, Wolfstone, Barleyjuice and Gaelic Storm. Another group I like that I don't think has been mentioned yet is the Kilmaine Saints. They just released their 2nd album.

    Wolfstone is great!!!!

Also I downloaded something from The Corries, they are more traditional, but still very cool music!

A great radio show is The Thistle and Shamrock. If MPR does not carry it, check the Web site at http://thistleradio.com/

Not "Celtic", but most definitely Scottish (if that's different): contemporary from Selkirk and Glasgow-Edinburgh:
    - Frightened Rabbit
    - We Were Promised Jetpacks
They are both contemporary-style muisc (post-Rock) for which I have no name. I like them both a lot. Closest American equivalent might be Airborne Toxic Event.

On the modern Celtic side, I like Enter the Haggis a lot. Catch them in concert if you can (from Cananda).

Will try to find the bands you mentioned, but its kind of hard to me to catch them in a concert
