I have CRS, and it's in another language.

I know it's bad I have a kilt on order and I am bragging to friends and family about it but I can't remember what it's called. It's a black on black tartan. You don't see the pattern until it hits the light. Any help would be great thanks.

I will be making your kilt out of the Ben Dubh Tartan. Woven in 13oz new wool by Marton Mills in the UK.

While some other Tartans use black and a dark gray to achieve the Tartan effect, this is a true black on black Tartan. The effect with this particular Tartan is achieved by weaving with two yarns, one yarn spun to the left and the other yarn spun to the right. The Tartan pattern looks totally black until the fabric moves or light hits it from just the right angle. Then the pattern pops out.

If you remember when you were in the shop and I showed you the bolt of fabric I joked that when you wear your kilt and people ask "What Clan does that Tartan represent?" you can answer "Clandestine!"
