I put all my lightweight kilts (PV and Utilikilts) on them WalMarche' hangers. If you look near the hangers you'll probably see a bag of a dozen extra clips for sale for about a dollar. That way you don't have to sacrifice clips from the other hangers and you can add as many clips as you want.
I use Order of the Gael hangers for my wool kilts and leather kilts.

Very good idea. Thanks. My tanks are too heavy for any one single hanger that I've been able to find. Your two-hanger approach will save the day.

This photo was sent to me as a "funny" but I think it's a great idea -- and of course I made the connection to this thread and those of its ilk -- excuse the slight derail but I give you the combination kilt hangar and recipe holder!

David,
I have always used a single hanger (16 inches long, made of wood, and felt lined) on my 8 yard, heavyweight kilts, and have had no problem whatsoever. Here is my hanger style:
Cheers,

The best hangers I've found are at Bed Bath and Beyond - they have rubberized clips which hold very well. But I am interested in trying out the two hanger fold over method as well.

My tanks are unfortunately bigger around, and therefore heavier, than yours, Kyle.
