Blue and Green Tartans that *aren't* derived from the Government Sett?

Those 2 pictures actually appear to be Forbes. The difference between Forbes and Lamont is that Forbes has 2 black threads guarding the white. Lamont has the white directly bordered by the green.

Both of those are based on the Government sett (Black Watch) anyway, so they're out of the scope of the OP's request.

That's true now but in the early 1800s Lamont was sold with K guards to the W too.

So was there any differentiation between the 2? Did one have 4 thread gaurds and the other 2 or was it an identical tartan with 2 names?
