    What's My Line?

I came across this clip from the TV show on another forum. It's interesting to hear some of the questions on kilt-wearing, and it gave me a chuckle.

One of many good old shows I used to sit and watch. Thanks for sharing it was quite a fun trip down memory lane.

Thanks for the pointer. That brought back a lot of old memories. Unsurprisingly, I find that I'm still in love with Arlene Francis.
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

I'm not gloating, but I am slightly younger than you Mookie, so no old memories were brought up. That being said, I will admit to being newly smitten by Ms. Francis. Heck, she even knows some stuff about kilts!

    "slightly" ?!

Ms. Francis was quite a lady - very knowledgeable and well spoken, as the clip illustrates. Of course, my attraction to her was purely Platonic, or Plutonic (as in Mickey Mouse's dog). I was about 10 at the time.

Macman , that was pretty cool and a trip down memory lane ! I remember " What's My Line " just not that far back .

I also remember a similar show back in the late 60s / early 70s called " To Tell the Truth " which was also guessing about who did what occupation . They once had a person who was a piper and that's what they had to figure out . At the end of the show , the real piper played " Smoke on the Water " on the pipes , of course being young at the time , I thought that was way cool !!

Oh and by the way Mookien and LitTrog , one of the panel members of that show was Kitty Carlisle , a smart looking lady indeed , but don't start drooling over her , or else I will have to start questioning your judgement !
