I was working on 5 smaller paintings (on masonite panels) , 8 digital artworks (created using 'Corel Painter 8' and a Wacom pressure sensitive tablet and pen) and this 70" wide painting on canvas for a musicians CD package and booklet (inside the CD package).... finally got it all done ~ I feel relieved (I've been working on all of these for 4 months)

I was taking some pics of the big one outside and shot one of me with it (I have that "its below freezing out and I have my gloves off to take pics" look)

My hands get cold ... don't seem to mind cold thighs and knees much.

Great artwork! I would love to know who the musicians are when the CD is released. Oh yeah, the kilt looks good too. Protect those hands, they are key to your livelyhood.

I like it! I would also like to know who the musicians are. And the kilt looks great, too, despite the "cold hands" posture

Very nice painting David. You really are a talented fellow. I am also a fan of the way that you adapt your wardrobe to the fullest effect. Well done.

    Thanks guys ...

The site for the band is http://www.theafterward.nl/

The main guy was in LA years ago when I did some other paintings for him... now he's in the Netherlands.

The music for this project centres around what used to be called the Spice Islands sort of northeast of Indonesia's Java region. For centuries this was the only source of mace and nutmeg.

Anyway, the site above has a sample but that is not the music on this project.

The painting above will form the front and back covers of the CD package ... it will be neat to see the whole thing put together
