    My new kit for Burns night

    I mentioned a while back that I had ordered a doublet and Inverness cape.
    (All ordered through the Celtic Croft)
    So without further ado, the pictures.

    Nifty outfit you have there. That Inverness cape looks fantastic.

    I quite fancy a Sherrifmuir for myself, I just cant quite justify it while My PC still fits since I wear it about once every two years.
    The hielan' man he wears the kilt, even when it's snowin';
    He kens na where the wind comes frae,
    But he kens fine where its goin'.

    Looking very, very good indeed! I have LONG wanted a sheriffmuir myself. I quite like the fly-plaid with it too.
    Kudos to you good sir. The cape is spot on as well obviously.

    Very well done. I quite like the garter flashes with your Argyle hose. I wear traditional ties often, but am not happy with the knot under my diced hose.
    When I see how your turn-overs lay, I need to invest in some solid flashes.
    Guid on ya!

    Awesome! Looks like pictures from a formal Scottish attire catalog. Those duds look so authentic, they're going to make you cut the Haggis at the Burns night dinner.

    Post some pictures from the festivities, if you can. Have a great time.
    I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

    Now that's impressive. A formal look one could certainly aspire to.
