    So If I purchase a Canadian tartan Kilt (maple leaf is really nice), can I claim citizenship? I suppose I would then have to pay CDN taxes.
    Here's the deal, You won't have to pay PST (provincial sales tax) You will have to pay GST (federal sales tax) But you can get that back by filling out a form and sending it to the Feds. So in one way you would be better off than us Canucks. So in a way you don't have to pay Canadian taxes.
    It's kinda nice up here, so we may adopt you....We'll vote on it at the Toronto Pub crawl, which is this weekend you'll have to wait a couple of weeks for the Western contingent.
