My First Kilt : 4yd BP MacFarlane Ancient

(Even though the other two arrived first ;-)

After the wait it would be easy to be somewhat let down, but I couldn't be more pleased with this beauty. Starting from the inside out, the construction is amazing--the clever inside strap, the lining. The fit is perfect. The hose are Joannie Newsome's knitted cuffs in shepherd check.

    Fantastic!
Especially with the blue polo and hose.
    Enjoy.

The shirt was shear serendipity....it's a generic brand from Target that I picked up last summer because it was such an unusual color. Teal heather, you might say.

That's a beautiful kilt. And you wear it well. The hose are a perfect compliment to the tartan.

Looking good, although I must confess to being confused by the wording of your post saying that this is your first kilt even though two others arrived before? How can that be? Unless you consider this as your first "real" handmade to fit kilt.
