    The birds & the bees

When little Amy came home from first grade, her grandmother asked her what she'd learned in school that day. Amy told her that she learned how to make babies.

Hesitatingly, Grandma said, "Oh? And how do you make babies?"

"You drop the 'y' and add 'ies'," replied Amy.

That's how you do it, alright!

Kind of like the little girl who asked what "couple sex" was. After a very long explanation, the grandfather asked why she wanted to know. The little girl answered, "Grandma said supper would be ready in a couple secs, but I didn't know what it was."

One of my favorites along these lines is the little girl who comes home from school one day and asks her mommy "Where did I come from?" After giving a half hour lesson on the "birds and the bees," mom asks her daughter if she understood all that? The little girl says "Yes, I think so but where did I come from?; Sally at school said she came from Ohio."
