Acrylic fabrics should hold a pleat very well so you shouldn't have to get too familiar with the iron.

I just spent entirly to many years ironing uniforms in the Marine Corps so i enjoy fabrics that will hold a crease on there own.

My new Black Watch kilt arrived from Jerry at Stillwater today. He has the best customer service. I can't wait to do the minor mods and wear it. As for ironing...well I do iron my other one quite frequently...but I'm very particular. I find them a bit long too, and will try that idea on shortening them.

I have been wearing my Blackwatch for the last week and a half and I like the it. It is a fine kilt for such a low price. ALthough it is a little warm when temperature go over 20C.

You'll find that's common with synthetics. They generally don't breath as well as natural fibers.
