Tonight it was Bushmills on the rocks followed by a dram of Longmorn 16 while watching a couple of episodes of MOTG. Longmorn has a rich flavor, is very smooth, and has a noticeable alcohol burn, ... at least it did tonight.
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

DyerStraits,
Should maybe have given her the Aberlour A'bunadh--sherry finish and cask strength might have gotten you in good with her Mum, but may have gotten you a lot more private time with the girlfriend as her mum slept off the effects with a smile on her face.... or maybe save that idea for another day.

I have an opened bottle of Glenfiddich on the bar, and a wee bit of the Balvenie left in my decanter. For you "certain" supporters who aren't happy with the owner's endorsement and choose to boycott, feel free to ship all unsealed bottles to me! I don't have a dog in the hunt.

Tonight I'm have a dram of The Arran Malt 10 year (not a bold whisky, but sometimes my palate is better suited to subtler flavors) to celebrate the birth of niece, Chloe, who has made me an uncle for the third time. Here's to the healthy, bonnie lass and her happy family.

Congratulations to you and your family!
Last night I had a few drams of Ardbeg at my local "room with booze in it". One of my favourite winter drinks!
Cheers,
Cameron

Tonight, I'm drinking 100 Pipers Blended Scotch Whisky, but this past weekend, at Grandfather Mountain Highland Games, I shared Old Pulteney 12 in my Clan Sinclair tent with many visitors, and had wee drams of Highland Park 12 at the Clan Graham tent, Talisker from the flask of Bo On The Go, Dalwhinnie 15 at the Clan MacAlister tent, and Laphroaig Quarter Cask and Abelour 12 at the Clan Gunn tent. int: Slainte mhath!
