Back to an old favourite this evening; recently finished a Laphroaig 10 and had to get a new Islay to replace it. Opened up a new Bowmore 12 (which was my first ever peated dram) and was quickly reminded why it led me to my love of peat.

Not my usual last night. In memory of Neal Peart (RIP), a young Macallan.

Scotch currently on board.
I am a man of modest means but do like my scotch. Single malts are Glenlivet 12 and Auchentoshan 12, aways drunk neat. I also have Black and White, Prohibition Edition Cutty Sark and Johnny Walker White Walker. The White Walker was a gift from my niece who is into both scotch and Game of Thrones. The Black and White was on sale and an impulse buy in honor of the Rat Pack for drinking on the rocks. I probably would have never bought the White Walker myself, but it isn't bad at all, YMMV!
I am typing this in my kilt which I wore for a dinner party with my inlaws and my grandson. Not good a selfies. This is my first one.

St. Pat's
For this evening, a departure from my beloved single malt Scotches with a peculiarly passable single-malt Irish: Bushmill's Millennium Malt, from Cask #52, issued in a friend's name.
During these interesting times, perhaps a bit of Irish luck could do us all some good.
With as much emphasis as a toast to health and vigor could possibly enfold, "Sláinte!"

Bushmills 10 Year Old Single Malt
I bought a fifth of Busmills 10 Year Old Single Malt for St. Patrick's Day. I really enjoyed it. It is now my favorite Irish Whiskey. The price is reasonable too (IMO).

Favorite Cheap Scotch
I've tried pretty much all of the popular cheap Scotches, but my favorite and iMO far and above the rest is Teachers. I just find the mixture of Islay and Speyside to be quite alluring. Even though you won't be fooled into thinking you're drinking Laphroaig mixed with Glenfiddich, it is still an enjoyable dram. Anybody else have a favorite?

I don't usually drink Irish Whiskey, but when I do, it is Bushmills.

My favorite next to the bottom shelf blended whisky is also Teachers. My favorite bottom shelf blended whisky is a tie between 100 Pipers and Clan MacGregor. This evening, I'm enjoying way too many drams of Clan MacGregor.
