While I have a number of single malts, lately I've been enjoying Scottish Leader, a blended scotch I picked up a while ago.
Cheers!

Tried the Corsair whiskies today at Alchemy Bottle in Oakland, CA. A whisky, a rye, and a triple-smoked whisky. All good, but the rye and triple-smoke were very good.

Last night was another tedious night sampling malts.
We have malt tastings on a fairly regular basis with the St. Andrew's Society here in Albany NY. I have yet to have one more suited to my tastes than the Caol Ila we sampled a bit ago. I bought a bottle and it's almost gone!
Last night was Bruichladdich Classic and Ardberg 10 year, both from Islay. The Arberg was very peaty, and is from the east coast, while the Bruichladdich seemed less so, and is "unpeated." While I enjoy scotch, these are not two I would buy.
