Good find Richard, very interesting. I have a feeling it will help rather than hinder our cause, just a feeling, and one that I didn't really have leading up to the NY show, not that I was there.

It may be the whole masculine "Trojan warrior" thing that I feel may encourage acceptance of kilts more.
Guess we'll see after the movie if his prediction comes true.

I think I will see the movie.

The tone of Pitts' remark was clearly "tongue in cheek" and not meant as a prediction of the future of mens' fashion trends. The truth of it is that the status quo (trousers for men) will be with us for a very long time.

I think it could be a good thing, because he's not wearing something frilly, but a traditional man's garment.

However, one has to be cautious. I saw the picture of Brad Pitt in his ideal skirts/dresses and know that I don't want men dressing like that. He's definitely a Free Styler.

Brad Pitt and David Beckham are Metrosexuals!!!
Of course they don't mind wearing skirts! These are the same guys that probably think "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy" is the best show on television.
