    No Bren,

None of these are new and nothing has change in quite a long time. In fact, I inherited the time limit on editing a post when I purchased the forum over five years ago. It was old then.

I imagine it is possible that a post could be edited beyond the time limit. Stranger things have happened in the world of electrons.

I am another iPad2 user who has had no trouble posting or viewing.
Some websites do not like IPads. I've had trouble with airline tickets.

XMTS has been nothing but fun!
Thanks Steve for the service. I've enjoyed reading and my limited posting.

I am unable to edit posts on my desktop now either. Has there been a software update?

Was it beyond the 10-minute time limit? See Steve's post #8 for a list of time (and other) limits on forum activities.

There is a reason that the better (more serious or professional) forums have a time limit on making changes to posts. That avoids potential "squabbles" - as to who said what and when...in the sequence of an online conversation.

Like Bren mentioned, I routinely edited my posts (spelling mostly) days after I originally posted them. You can just look at the last edited time stamp compared to the date the post was originally made to verify this so I find it puzzling that this is not new.
