Free tweed kilt jacket
I have to share an incredible story that happened to me yesterday. I recently lost about 40 lbs. during a post surgery recovery period and now my kilt is a bit too big. I wanted to get it resized before New Year's and found an alterations shop to do the work. The alterations shop just happens to be in the same shopping plaza as a Celtic products store that rents (and will order) kilts and accessories. I stopped by there to ask their advice on a tailor/shop to do the work.
During our conversation, I casually mentioned I was also looking to buy a tweed kilt jacket. The shop owner said wait here a moment, went to the back of the shop and came back with a jacket for me to try on. It fit perfectly! When I asked how much he wanted for it, he said nothing, it's yours. It seems the jacket had been left at the shop by the wife of a man who had passed and she was hoping they would be able to find someone who could wear it. Well, that someone has turned out to be me and I was left speechless (and incredibly thankful)! Sometimes life will surprise you.
I intend to wear the jacket proudly and care for it lovingly in honor of it's previous owner.
Cheers,
Mark B.

Lucky you, Thats a very nice jacket and it looks good on you. What are the chances of that? That it fits well and just gain it for free. All the best for your surgery and recovery.

That's wonderful. What a lovely expression of the Christmas spirit. The jacket looks quite nice as well. I had a similar experience once and it was just excellent. Enjoy your jacket and the best of luck with your recovery.
Cheers
