Question Question about the Light Weight Premium Wool Kilted Mini Skirt

It isn't entirely clear from the images or description - is this skirt constructed pretty much the same as a man's kilt? Overlapping apron, 3 buckles?

Apologies - since I specified the Light Weight Premium Wool Kilted Mini Skirt in the Celtic Croft advertiser forum, I was anticipating a reply from the Celtic Croft and that they would understand what I'm asking about.

The product I mentioned is here .

You could always email them. I've ordered from them several times and have had no problem w/ getting a response.

mookien, kallen - I might have misunderstood the purpose of the advertisers forums. I'll give them a shout through their website tomorrow. Appreciate the replies.

Some advertisers are more active on the forums than others. A few vendors seem to pop in almost daily while others rarely post.

Now I understand. I have done business with Celtic Croft several times and have always received good response and good service. I don't think you'll have any problems.

Creag, I have seen this picture on several kilt vendors’ sites. In other words it is a standard photo and therefore not necessarily the kilt you are going to receive.
Being a kilted skirt it is not comparable to a man’s kilt. You should face the following major differences:

    1) It is much shorter (18-19”).
    2) It closes to the “female” side.
    3) The apron is narrow compared to a man’s kilt, not going from hip to hip.
    4) Probably less than two yards of tartan are used.
    6) The tartan is light weight.
    5) Straps and buckles are mini sized.

Supposing it is for your wife or GF it might be a good purchase nevertheless.
