Monthly kilt night in Toronto anyone?

I thought it might be nice to organize a monthly kilt night in Toronto. "Tartan Tuesdays" or something like that. I was thinking of approaching the Caledonian to see if they might offer some kind of deal on that night to folks who arrive kilted. Before I go to all the trouble of setting it up, do I have any takers? Would you come?

Wednesday wouldn't work for me but other nights would be fine. I guessed Tuesday because most bars have trouble generating business on Tuesday nights, so having a theme helps. I also like the sound of "Tartan Tuesdays".

I look forward to your responses...

Hi Nathan. Kitchener or London would be closer, but I might be able to make such an event once in a while. I certainly wouldn't be a monthly visitor, but would welcome the opportunity to from time to time.

    Hi Nathan

i would be interested but only able to attend a few times each year as I am two and a half hours west. I certainly would love to make it as often as I can.

Nathan, similar to War Dog and the Preacher (we are starting to sound ominously like a gang) I could make it a few times a year. I have business in TO which takes me there a couple of times a month. If I knew there were kindrid spirits at the Caledonian I would certainly make an effort to be there when I could and my eldest son (also has kilt) lives not far away. It would be double joy to me to have him come along as well.

Count me in. You know way back when I joined this forum there was a bunch of guys from Southern Ontario that would get together once a month. We called ourselves the SOKS (Southern Ontario Kilt Society) and we got to no good, but it was a heck of a lot of fun. I miss that and so think this is a great idea.
