Only a 2 day wait! :)
So, I ordered a kilt on Wednesday, and it arrived Friday. That's amazing! But the real reason why I'm posting this is a review of the product. I ordered a Stillwaterkilts standard kilt in Cameron Tartan and a matching "pipers" plaid to be worn as a day plaid. For what I paid, and for what I intended this kilt to be used for, I've thrilled! I'm normally not a fan of acrylic kilts, however this one is fairly nice. I ordered it so I could do yard work in a kilt and not feel bad about it getting dirty. This kilt is actually better than I had expected. Well done Stillwaterkilts, well done! I feel that given warmer weather I could even dress this kilt up a bit if the need were to arise.

OK, I like the kilt review, and it looks good, but have to ask. You bought a piper's plaid for yard work? Hmm, maybe I need to give a piper's plaid a try for stylish mowing, weeding, and trimming. I do those chores kilted already...Doesn't the plaid get in the way though?!?

Ah! Good catch there California. No, the day plaid is NOT for yard work, HA! The kilt is. During the summer my wife and I have picnic dates, and I use the day plaid for those. I prefer to use acrylic for those over the more expensive wool ones for practical reasons.

They do indeed ship very fast. Nothing wrong with acrylic if it's good quality stuff and properly tailored. Well Done!

Well, yours came faster than mine! Mine is going to get here Monday, so a 3 day wait which isn't too shabby. I ordered the USMC Leatherneck Standard, and if the length is a little off I'll probably do a custom order for a heavyweight when Jerry gets more tartan designs in the heavies. Your kilt looks good!
