    The Mrs and I lived there for 3 years in the late 70's-early 80's. Wore my kilt and kit on occasion but never, ever, to work. (Uncle Sam's Infantry frowned on that sort of thing, still does.) In those days the relaxed attitude kilt wearers have today was missing, even in the Islands. Better off today.
