Haven't asked about a cook, but did notice on the menu that the Irish Stew isn't available this time of year. Looking forward to seeing y'all again. Wondering where everyone else is.
I'm going to email Jerry to see if he and Jeanie will come.

Here is the one picture taken with my phone. More likely to come from other.

This is Jerry, Dave and BD (me). Picture is taken at Crickets Brewhouse. We intended to go to Barnett's Pub, but they changed their hours and didn't open until 7pm. So we moved the gathering two blocks over. Then went back to Barnett's for dessert of bread pudding and Irish coffee. I know, we are a real wild bunch, bar hopping like that.....

I can't talk for anyone elses' food, but my burger was lacking something, seasoning wise. Portions were large though. We did have a good time visiting.

I agree with BD. We did have a fine time visiting.
Our limited attendance does bring out an aspect of living in Texas as opposed to, say, Rhode Island, when it comes to putting together a kilt night. While there are many (dare I say hundreds!) of active members of this rabble here in the Lone Star State, we're grouped in areas that are separated by hours of driving that doesn't lend itself to a couple of shots of adult beverage and a hearty meal! For the wife and I Waco is 45 minutes, Austin (to where the Pubs are) 1 Hour or more, southern DFW 2 1/2 hours as is north San Antonio, and Houston 4 hours. Sometimes I feel jealous when y'all post pictures that show lots of attendees. But after reflection, it's the quality, not quantity that makes the event.
