    Next kilt

I just shipped my R'lyeh/Cthulhu tartan off to Steve at Freedom Kilts to have my next kilt made. I bought the fabric last November and I have been saving my spare change for this kilt. Now, I wait.

    A fellow in Victoria, BC
Is making my new kilt for me
    Now I've got the jones
In my skin and my bones
But the kilt shall set me free

I ordered my kilt one day
Then said to Steve, "Please belay"
    I was quite round
    But I've lost some pounds
At this weight I hope I can stay

After I measured with Steve's kind assistance via Skype and sent my fabric off to F.K., I noticed that I had begun to lose some weight. I asked Steve to hold off making my kilt until I stabilize my weight. I got an email from him last night telling me that my order is next on the board and was I ready to take new measurements or did I want to wait longer.

I responded that it pains me to prolong my jones, but I am still losing and I think it's best to wait until I see where this weight loss ends. I wasn't expecting the kilt until early-mid October anyway, so we are going to wait the month of September and see where I am.

Arrrgh! This jones be a mighty one!
