The waiter at the steak house asked us politely about the tartan and seemed to be genuinely interested in talking about it. We had a great time at the society pub night too. X-Marker UncleVenus took the second pic for us.

    It's fun to go kilted!

Happy Anniversary! Congratulations on your 28th. It wasn't Andrew's restaurant by any chance was it?

Love your Buchanan kilt and your wife's scarf. Thanks for posting the pics. That's my favorite "colorful" tartan. My son has a USA Casual kilt in that tartan.
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

Thank you folks! Mookien it was Christener's Prime Steaks and Seafood - it used to be a Del Frisco's owned by the Christener's but a year or two ago I _believe_ they bought out their franchise and now own it themselves. Same people running it, same food, same beautiful wall of single malts in the bar. ;-) (I had a little Balvenie Doublewood.)
And the waiter comped our Mandarin orange cake for dessert. It was big enough to share and we had some left-over for a snack later at home...

Sounds like a great place. I don't know Christener's, but that just shows how long it has been since I've been in town. If you were drinking Balvenie, no wonder they comped your cake.

Happy Anniversary. I appreciate your bride with the scarf. And, of course, your kilt is great.
