    Donnie did 2 sporrans for me, one black with an Eagle Globe and Anchor, and one brown with my wartime unit's insignia (Marine Attack Squadron 211). He nailed what I wanted on both. I've had the EGA for years, and it looks as good as the day I unpacked it. He is both an artist and a craftsman of considerable skill.

    Nice sporran! Like Hawk, I think I'd go with Elk antler instead of bear claw. But that is a sweet looking sporran.

    I'd though about using a, bit of antler as a pin to close the sporran, but it's been done a gillion times, so I chose a bear claw, just to have the first sporran of its kind in captivity. nevertheless, a nice spike antler or tine would work well with this design. I could see using turkey bone and other alternatives.
