Not A Sporran, But Another Offering From ACS- Custom Waist Plates

You read that correctly, I've moved into a new area of offering.
    Custom Waistplates!

This one is fairly simple. It's based on an old silver plated piece I found a picture of.

Pretty much any shape can be made, as long as it covers the required hardware.
Designs can be stamped or engraved, and mixed metals/piercing are also possible,
but I am not currently set up for very high relief (Repoussé and Chasing) nor for brass/silver casting.

Oh, nice! Very close to the pattern on the MOD "Culloden" brass cantles. Could you do an exact match of that particular pattern, on brass, to match the MOD brass cantle? $?

Well it wouldn't be EXACTLY the same, as the MoD cantles are stamped and the 'domes' that I'd add would be actual rivets, but I can certainly replicate the pattern.
The spacing may need to be adjusted to work within the confines of the buckle's size.

The cost would depend on whether I could get the brass rivets from my normal supplier or if I'd have to make them myself. Obviously if I have to make several dozen custom turnings there's going
    be some extra cost.

Without sitting down to crunch some numbers I couldn't really give a sound estimate, but I can tell you it wouldn't be inexpensive. All the edge patterning on the MoD cantle has to be chased into the waist plate by hand, and it might have to be done after the plate was shaped into it's gentle 'belly' curve.

If you're really interested shoot me an email and we can have a more detailed conversation about it- artificer (at) customsporrans.net
