    Hold on a minute! The thought occurs to me that the Walkers have a tartan and if my very fallable brain is working correctly, it is a Clan, or at least a family with their own tartan.

    No I don't think so Simon, but then, I tend to associate assorted tartans with my friends that wear them. It seems that I do not move in circles that contain any Walkers!

    Thanks so much! Yes, I think I'm realizing the Walker family was prbly a sept. Doubt mine would have been from clan Stewart sinc my GrGrandfather was a Presbyterian minister. I might end up adopting the a Walker family tartan. Was hoping to find something a bit more ancient. Lol.
