    Welcome from metro Chicago.

Your son in a kilt at a renfaire will stand out about as much as a brown bison in a herd. Here's hoping he enjoys. Good on you, Dad.

Aloha and welcome from Honolulu, Hawaii.

I purchased my first kilt a couple weeks ago, and I am now up to I think 7 or 8 of them, and considering another one now. I'm definitely addicted.

Well the King Richard's Fair trip went very well. In fact both of the boys loved wearing there kilts. They each bought a kilt pin at the American Highlander tent with there own money.

They were complemented on there kilts several times. I think that was a real confidence booster for the boys and for the wearing of the kilts. All three of us were wearing matching Gordon tartan kilts and more then once we were called out on all of us matching.

The boys loved the shows and all of the vendors. So much to see in only one day.

The only negative thing to happen was one of the boys lost his brand new kilt pin at the very end of the day, he had it on at the end of the last joust tournament and when we were in the car just getting on the highway he noticed it was gone. He was so upset about loosing his pin. He had spent 10-15 (thats a long long time to hold his interest) minutes picking out the pin, and he finally chose one with a sword and a Celtic harp.
