Infantry knees is a wonderful excuse MacEanruig, that I'll use with your permission. I like the contrast of the blue flashes. They would match my varicose veins perfectly.

Wasn't old urine collected and used to soften the wool and prep it for use in clothes?
They stomped the wool in vats similar to the way they smush grapes from what I recall

I wore my Dandelion hose to the Central Virginia Celtic Festival and Highland games today. I forgot to pack a leather sporran strap, so I had to wear a chain. Got some glances at my Infantry Knees, or maybe it was my hose. Who knows?

Glad to see your challenging the norms of the Virginia's kilted. You're not just sporting a dashing attire but could liven a conversation just by walking by. Good show.
