    another Artificianado joins the ranks!

My first Artificer sporran is on its way!

    Here it is

I've wanted a sporran like this for decades. Finally getting my hands on a MOD cantle, and seeing and hearing about all the wonderful things Artificer does with them on this site, have combined to make my long wish a reality.

It's exactly what I've always wanted, an understated somewhat plain Culloden look. That leather is amazing, looking somehow vintage even when new.

When it arrives I'll post an updated "one kilt several looks" post.

As expected, a truly beautifully crafted heirloom piece.

Well done, Richard! Congratulations on joining the ranks.

@Kilted Cole, does this sporran look familiar, mate?

Congratulations, Richard ~ and welcome to the Club! We are very fortunate indeed to have Scott practicing his Art in out day and age. The leather on your new beauty looks like it will feel as soft as butter. Great colour, too.

    Thanks guys!

Is Cole by any chance the owner of this Artificer beauty? It was indeed my inspiration! The second I saw that type of leather I knew it's what I wanted. I just wanted fewer tassels, and to have a bigger pouch.

No, unfortunately I am not the owner of THIS one, I am however about to be the owner of these THREE! Yes, like you, that sporran was my inspiration as well

And here is the first one of Artificers, that I own. This one is currently my go to sporran for almost everyday. On a side note, a friend of mine is making a kilt jacket out of the tweed blend fabric in the picture.

Well met Richard. I like a photo with compatible dimensions like your "movie quality version of product placement". The sporran looks great and I believe the jacket will be fetching when finished. Good for you. From Oxford, MS.
