I wanted a unique, heirloom quality piece that reflected my connection to the home of my heart, Cape Breton Island. I was raised on Cape Breton and feel very connected to the Gaelic culture there. That brass outline on the targe is a wonderfully detailed map of the island.
That embellishment takes it that one step above and makes it truly unique. Congratulations on a beautiful collaboration.

    Way cool!

I really like the targe and more ornamental tassels, and the map is a cool touch!

Nathan , a handsome sporran indeed ! Definitely an heirloom piece .

Really nice decision on the style and leather color . The Cape Breton touch is very symbolic of your ties , much the same as a clan badge or a military badge represent ties that bind .

    Well done !

    Cheers , Mike

I'm very happy with how it came out. I thought the brass tassel bells balanced the overall look nicely since there is a lot of brass at the top with the cantle, targe studs and island badge. Can't wait to feel the leather and see what this puppy will hold!

Nathan, it is a work of art. I think the map is a nice touch.

Congratulations to both you and Artificer. It`s a beautiful sporran, and the Cape Breton badge makes it something very special. I know you will wear it with much pride.

My jonesing is in overdrive right now! There hasn't been an online package tracking update in two days. I'm checking it like a crackhead checking payphones and couches for loose change!

Haaaaaaaaaaaaa ! That is probably the most creative reference to " jonesing " that I have ever seen !

And , I most certainly understand the waiting and the watching .
